  • Account: A unique account created for You to access our Service or parts of our Service.
  • Application: Refers to LinkClass, the software program provided by the Company. Note: This Application may be rebranded or customized under a specific Client's business name.
  • Company: (referred to as either "the Company", "We", "Us" or "Our") refers to the legal entity providing the LinkClass platform. In the context of data ownership, the Client (your school or learning center) is the primary Data User.
  • Service: Refers to the Application and its associated features (attendance, video, payments).
  • Personal Data: Any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual.

2. Collecting and Using Your Personal Data

Types of Data Collected

  • Personal Data: While using Our Service, We may ask You to provide: email address, first and last name, phone number, and student registration details.
  • Attendance Data: We collect check-in timestamps and student IDs to verify class attendance. Note: We do not track or collect Your GPS location data.
  • Usage Data: Includes Your Device's IP address, browser type, pages visited, and time spent watching course videos.

Payment Information

The Application allows You to pay invoices. All payments are processed by third-party payment processors. We do not store or collect Your payment card details. That information is provided directly to Our third-party payment processors whose use of Your personal information is governed by their Privacy Policy.


3. Use of Your Personal Data

The Company uses Personal Data for the following purposes:

  • To provide the Service: Including student login, attendance verification, and course video access.
  • To manage Your Account: To manage Your registration as a user of the Service.
  • For the performance of a contract: To facilitate the payment of invoices and tuition.
  • To contact You: Regarding updates, security alerts, or academic notifications via push notifications.

4. Retention of Your Personal Data

The Company will retain Your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use Your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain academic or financial records to comply with applicable education or tax laws in Hong Kong SAR).


5. Delete Your Personal Data

You have the right to delete or request that We assist in deleting the Personal Data that We have collected about You. You may update or delete Your information at any time by signing in to Your Account.

Note: We may be unable to delete certain academic records or financial transaction history where we have a legal obligation or lawful basis to retain that data for auditing and educational reporting.

We may share Your personal information with Service Providers (like video hosting and payment gateways) and with the specific Educational Institution (the Client) associated with your account.
